World Information: MODERN AU: Sarah is from present-day New York state, and had a financially comfortable upper middle class upbringing. Her parents divorced when she was seven, and she stayed with her Dad because her Mom moved to Arizona and her therapist suggested the least amount of change in the midst of a change would be better for her. Her paternal great- grandmother lived in the same town and helped raise her. He remarried when she was eleven, and her baby brother Josh was a surprise to everyone eight years later. Guess who does all the baby-sitting (it builds character). Sarah now goes to theatre school, but with her tuition fully paid by her Dad on the proviso she keeps going to therapy. She goes, because Sarah sees and speaks to goblins. Those fuckers are everywhere. She also casually works at Subway to cover the fact her Dad is paying for All The Things. It's how he parents.

Personality: Sarah likes 80s glam rock, Shakespeare, fairy tales (the proper Grimm ones, though Disney has its place), and men who are no good for her (because she knows it will never last. Commitment-phobic, just a little). She carries on full conversations with text misfires because those are fun. She hates the drugs she's put on to help her not see things, and has started to lie and say she's taking them instead. She loves to dance. She's a decent singer but doesn't consider it a talent except for fun at karaoke. She's bluntly honest, apologetic for it, and has a fear that people won't like her once they learn about her crazy. She's also firmly convinced that her mind is giving her crazy an actual literal form since watching that movie with David Bowie and his pants. Because that guy showed up. It didn't go well.

Powers: Sarah sees goblins. Like, everywhere. They mostly hide out in her room and make a nuisance of themselves, but she's never been anywhere and not seen at least one. They're afraid of being turned into chickens if they tell her why they're there.
